Description
This course is divided in six lectures, starting from the introduction of some basic concepts about conceptual hydrogeological models in coastal areas and about seawater intrusion, up to the exposition of some example of numerical models and of the issues related to management activities. During this process, the course will give to the attendants notions on field measuraments, geophysical, hydrogeological and hydrochemical characterization and how the Darcy’s Law could be applied in variable-density groundwater systems.
