Description
This course aims to provide a comprehensive overview of the fundamental methodologies and practices for the implementation and management of wells, with a particular focus on the planning, execution, and interpretation of pumping tests. During the training course, the different drilling techniques will be outlined, and the construction aspects required to ensure satisfactory well performance will be explored. Starting from the theory, the methods for planning a pumping test will be presented, along with data analysis performed using various software and methods. The estimated aquifer parameters and their uncertainty will be discussed, highlighting how these elements can influence the conceptual model of the site.
Finally, as an optional task, participants will be invited to analyze and interpret pumping trials related to a new site using the available documentation and raw data, in order to practically apply the skills acquired during the course.
The course will take place on a date to be determined, to stay updated on it or to have information on our other courses and/or activities, you can visit the SYMPLE Store, sign up for the Newsletter or contact us via the Contact page.
